Test & Examinations
As per the direction of the department of Public Instruction, monthly test and examinations are conducted. The dates will be announced. Attendance on tests and examinations are compulsory, exemption for the same shall be granted at the discretion of the principal / HM and the class teacher on medical ground only. Attendance should be minimum of 75% of the total working days of the school. In order to appear for the promotional examination.
Progress Report
Within 15 days after tests/ examination, a report card showing the performance of the student in different subjects shall be issued to all the students. The progress report card should be returned to the class teachers after duly signed by the parent / guardian The/Parents/guardians shall meet the HM in case of any difficulty in getting the marks card. They will kindly watch the pupil’s regularity in attendance and academic activities.
Promotion
Promotion to higher classes shall be made as per the rules made by the Department of public instruction.
Computer Education
Computer Literacy has become and necessity in present-day society to provide the basics of Computer Literacy, the school has a well-equipped computer centre and teachers trained in Computer Education From the academic year 2014-15, all the students of PMS public school are learning Computer Education without exception on our ADVANCED COMPUTER LABORATORY which is equipped with ADVANCED COMPUTER. Learning the basics, DOS, Date Base, Windows, C+ etc., which are very necessary for the modern-day student. Our students will learn the theory and practicals of Computer Education in a very spacious Computer Laboratory. No time is wasted in the school for the student during the working hours of the school periods. Computer learning will be incorporated in the class time-table. At the end of the academic year examination will be held in Computer Education and certificates will be issued by the school.
Science & Humanities Fair Club
The school has students club to give training in respecting democratic values. However, the student club functions mainly on the principle of guided democracy All the students of the school are the members of the students club. The students club has 4 houses namely Red, Green, Yellow, Blue. Different Co- curricular activities such as school day, inter school competitions etc, are conducted under the banner of the student club. Participation in the all activities of the students club is compulsory.
School Excursion
To inculcate proper social behaviour, develop leadership qualities and make the grandeur of our past and present, the school organizes short excursions and a long excursion to the places of academic interest while participation in the school excursions is not compulsory participation is advised in the interest of the parents.
Library
There is a Well equipped library with 2,000 books reference and tests and Literature, Science, Geography, Selected Magazine like sports star, Geographic Magazine is subscribed for the benefit of the students. The students can make use of the library facility for their academic work general studies.
